Accessibility statement

TapSOS was created so that people who cannot speak can still get help. We want this website to be just as usable. You should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • use the whole site with a keyboard alone
  • use the site with a screen reader or voice control
  • change colours, contrast and fonts in your browser or device settings
  • use the site with animation turned off

We use plain language, and all video links lead to YouTube, where captions can be turned on.

How accessible this website is

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. WCAG 2.2 is also published as the international standard ISO/IEC 40500:2025. It was tested with automated checks, keyboard-only use and a screen reader when it was rebuilt in 2026.
